Every W&S has a starting point. Volume 1, tREB hit me with a beat and I talked mess. Volume 2, I wanted to take it a little easier. Volume 3, I was trying to reconnect with my Southern Roots. Volume 4 tho...?
This was the volume where I was supposed to be open and honest about myself. I take my art real seriously...and I'm a very imperfect person. Needless to say, this took a minute. I actually went back home to record with CM Rod Suede, the guy that 1st convinced me to write a (horrible!) rhyme. We didn't use those vocals but he gave me the confidence to start...and I truly appreciate that.
